AC & Refrigeration Engineer (AC&REF1)

Robert Hurst is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to join a well-established and growing building services contractor operating across Greater London.

This is a mobile role, predominantly covering sites within the Inner M25. Engineers typically attend 1-2 sites per day, with 3-5 callouts depending on workload.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

• Service, maintenance and inspection of AC, refrigeration & HVAC systems
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Reactive fault finding and repairs
• Working on AHUs, chillers, split systems & fan coil units
• Small works, installations and refurbishment projects
• Liaising with building maintenance teams
• Completing service reports and maintaining accurate records
• Assisting with general building maintenance tasks where required
  
  

Requirements

• Proven experience in service, installation, PPM & reactive maintenance
• Strong knowledge of chillers and refrigeration plant
• F-Gas 2079 (Safe Handling of Refrigerants) - essential
• Trade qualified AC / Refrigeration Engineer preferred
• Good building services knowledge (basic electrical, mechanical & plumbing understanding)
• Organised with good IT and reporting skills
• Professional, articulate and confident in customer-facing environments
