Job Title: Duct Fitter's Mate Location: Leicester General Hospital Start: 9th February 2026 Duration: 1 Month (with potential for extension) Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 16:00 Rate: £16.25 per hour Role Overview: We are currently seeking an experienced and reliable Duct Fitter's Mate to join an ongoing project at Leicester General Hospital. This is a short-term opportunity working alongside skilled duct fitters on a commercial healthcare site. Scope of Work: Assisting duct fitters with the installation of galvanised ductwork Handling materials and tools safely and efficiently Supporting site operations to ensure work is completed to a high standard Following all health & safety procedures on a live hospital environment Requirements: Previous experience as a Duct Fitter's Mate or similar role Experience working with galvanised ductwork preferred Good understanding of site health & safety Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team Valid CSCS card What's on Offer: Competitive hourly rate of £16.
